The Pumpkin Patch
We went to a pumpkin patch today and picked out a few pumpkins, rode on the hayride, and went through the corn maze. The boys had a wonderful time and said it was the best hayride ever. It was a beautiful day!

Yellow Belts
The boys received their yellow belts yesterday! They were so very excited about this and kept telling the instructors, “Thank you for my yellow belt.” They were so proud of themselves and talked about their belts the rest of the night. As they say in their class, they totally deserve an AWESOME CLAP!!

Sweet Baby “T”
What an adorable little man this baby is! I could have cuddled him all day. But, I will say that posing babies really is hard work!!

Happy Three Month Birthday!
This is my friend’s little girl, and she turned three months old today. We decide to take some impromptu photos of the momentous day! I like to think that she and I have a special connection because I knew she was a girl from the start, and her momma didn’t believe me. I have know her family for over ten years now, to include this sweetie’s mom, uncle, and grandparents. Being stationed in the same place with her family has been a huge blessing to me. I love getting to be her Auntie and spoil her with hugs and kisses!

Kickin’ It Up a Notch
The boys just recently had their yellow belt testing for tae kwon do; however, the belts haven’t come in yet. We are still waiting to be able to get a picture of that momentous moment! These shots were from class on Monday. They were working on balance and were supposed to be drawing shapes with their legs around the foam blocker. What I love about these is their focus and the little bit of motion in each shot. Shooting inside under “office” lights is tough, especially when you don’t want to use a flash. It’s difficult to get the color right because of the color cast the lights give off. But, I love being able to capture them in the moment without distracting them with the flash!
