All Pink and Bows
I realized today that I’m very behind on my posts! I must share these photos of one sweet baby girl! For this shoot, I borrowed two baby beds from a friend. They are absolutely adorable and made for some fun photos. I’ve seriously pondered ordering one of them for myself to have on hand for upcoming sessions. As a mom of boys, I find it such fun to photography little girls. There is just so much cuteness between the hair bows, headbands, tutus, and PINK! And, this sweet little one is truly a special gift from above. I was honored to do both her mom’s maternity photos and her newborn photos. This baby has been blessed with an amazing family.
Baby Brother
As a mom of two boys, there is nothing quite better than seeing the bond between brothers. This sweet family just welcomed baby boy number two, making for one happy big brother. This little guy truly is one of the sweetest babies I’ve ever seen. He just kept smiling and smiling in his sleep. I could have sat and just watched him all day. I enjoyed getting to take photos of mom and her two boys. Very soon the three of them will be reunited with daddy and their family will be complete! As military families, we make many sacrifices. Being away from home for the birth of your child and having to go through child birth without your spouse is one of the biggest sacrifices one can make. Thank you to all those who serve~to include spouses and children!
A Perfect Morning
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to take maternity photos for a friend. It was an absolutely perfect Hawaiian morning on the beach. The waves were huge, the sky was that perfect Hawaiian blue, and the weather was just right. I had a lot of fun playing around with different poses and capturing the light. She’s absolutely glowing in these photos! She gave birth to a sweet baby girl this week. Thankfully her husband was able to make it home just in time!
Let’s Do 52-Muse and Joy of Love-What They Do
Anyone who knows this little guy knows that he is in love with all things military. He will tell you that he wants to be a jet fighter and a helicopter pilot when he grows up (wonder who he gets that from). Well, yesterday I had to take them to the doctors to get a shot that somehow was missed up until now. As payback for their unexpected trauma, I told them I would take them to get a new toy. He picked out this little plastic briefcase full of pretend military gear. This helmet is his favorite piece from the set. He wore it all afternoon. He would have worn it to bed if I had let him!
