It’s a (cup) Cake Smash!
I met this wonderful family back in October when they contacted me to do family photos for them. They were so much fun to “play” with then, so I was super excited when they asked me to do one year photos of the sweet Mr. B! It’s always amazing to me just how quickly little ones change at this age. Back in October, Mr. B’s brother, Mr. M, had no interest in having his photo taken. Last week, however, was a completely different story! He was all about being my model and having his picture taken. And the smiles……..well, they just went on for days! I had such a fun time with these two handsome little guys!
While I prefer to take pictures outside, the weather here doesn’t always allow for that. It’s been a wet, cold couple of weeks, so an indoor session was in order. And, as a mom of two boys, I love the fact that these two are all boy! They were both such great sports, and as a result we were able to get some fun, vibrant pictures to help document and celebrate the sweet Mr. B!
Family Session Preview~Brookline, MA
Today I had a wonderful family session in beautiful Larz Anderson Park in Brookline. It was a fabulous fall day, slightly warm and absolutely beautiful! There were at least six or seven other families having photos taken as well. It was a busy place! I am so thankful this family chose me to be their photographer, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. As a mom to two boys, I totally understand the logistics of getting little ones ready and willing to have their photos taken. The ready part is always easier than the willing part! Because, what’s more fun? Running around the park or sitting down to smile? I can assure you that for anyone under the age of at least five, the answer is they would rather be running around! We were able to get some wonderful shots and some playful ones as well. I wanted to get some preview photos up tonight to share! Can’t wait to work on the rest!
Aloha Haviland Family!
I would like to wish a warm Aloha to the Haviland family! I enjoyed my time with them this morning taking family photos on their last day on the island before heading to Pennsylvania for their next adventure. It was wonderful to see them all together again and so very happy! I wish them blessings as they enter the next stage of military life!
